Restoration of people and meeting their needs is the heart of God. He has given us everything to participate with Him in His divine purpose.

 

Matt. 25:26 “I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."

“Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners."

Heb. 13:3.

“He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those that are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous."

Psalm 146:7-8

“All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.”   

Acts 2:44-45.
