Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD)
Retirees with IRA’s, you can make a contribution to Pardoned by Christ while reducing your taxable income. A QCD is a direct transfer of funds from your IRA custodian, payable to a qualified charity (i.e., Pardoned by Christ) To qualify for a QCD, you must be 70 ½ years of age.
Stock and Securities Donations
You can donate shares of stock and other securities to Pardoned By Christ and save on taxes at the same time. For example: If you bought 10 shares of stock for $10 each, and now they are worth $20 each. If you donate 10 shares of stock directly to PBC, you can give PBC a $200 donation that only cost you $100 without having to pay taxes on capital gains.
